Five cars travelled 5311 KMS from Melbourne to Birdsville via Birdsville
Track, across the Simpson Desert to Mt Dare SA, Oodnadatta Track to Flinders
Ranges and then various routes SE to Mel.

The POD carried 14 Jerry cans of
Diesel and Petrol, 6 Jerry Cans of water a very large 80 LITRE Esky, spares,
bags bedding, tarps, tools, wheels, tyres etc, around 700+ kilos all up.

The Black car is a VW V10 Twin Turbo Diesel Toureg the White car is a V6 4.0
Li Petrol Landover Discovery 3.

The POD was the best item we could have purchased, travelled over 1100
sandunes through the Simpson Desert, two water crossings, Birdsville Track,
Oodnadatta Track and various nasty rock laden roads/tracks in SA to and from
Mt Dare SA.
